Highlights of BAC summer accomplishments: The Facilities Committee surveyed Pennsylvania Avenue SE around the Potomac Avenue Metro on Aug. 6. The Legislative and Safety, Education, and Enforcement Committees held August sit-down meetings to prepare for upcoming public hearings. A new member took office in the Ward 3 seat. BAC member Gregg Adams led the Sept. 20 ride, whose participants included a Greater Greater Washington editor who reported on the “harsh realities for people bicycling.” The BAC Facilities Committee rode in the area in June and reported its findings in the meeting minutes.
