Highlights of BAC accomplishments in June:
The BAC committees held meetings in June.
The Safety, Education and Enforcement Committee held a June 25 meeting with a representative of the Department of For-Hire Vehicles. Members discussed ways to increase bicyclist safety in relation to drivers of taxis and ride-hailing cars.
Additionally, members attended Vision Zero assessments of high-crash intersections.
Ward 2 member David Alexander was reappointed to the BAC. Council chair Phil Mendelson administered the oath of office on June 28.
